| Description: |
The Dade County Industrial Development Authority (further known as "Seller") will receive proposals to cut and remove timber from approximately twenty-five (25) acres of land in the Industrial Park (see map attached) located in Trenton, Georgia. The purchaser(s) should provide a standard timber purchase agreement to include prices per ton e.g. types of wood: Hardwood, Pine, Fuel and grades of wood: Grade, Pallet, Pulpwood, Stave & Tie logs. Purchaser shall apply for all required permitting and comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations relating to the cutting and harvesting of timber. Purchaser shall indemnify and save harmless Seller from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities and expenses in connection with loss of life, personal injury, and/or damage to property arising out of its use of the land or occasioned wholly or in part by any act or omission of Purchaser, its agents, contractors, employees or invitees. A fully executed agreement between Seller and Purchaser(s) shall be in effect before any work orders proceed. All proper documentation shall be affixed to said agreement including but not limited to compliance with E-Verify and IRS form W-9. Dade County Industrial Development Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals. |

Mail proposals to Dade County Industrial Development Authority, Attention: Peter Cervelli, PO Box 613, Trenton, GA 30752-0613 or hand deliver to Administrative Building, Dade County Commission Office, Suite 243, 71 Case Avenue, Trenton, Georgia 30752. Proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 to be considered. Any late submissions will not be opened and will not be returned to the sender. Award notification will be determined by the IDA Board at a regular meeting 4pm |
