IFWR (INVITATION FOR WRITTEN RESPONSE)- COMMUNITY HOUSE DOOR REPLACEMENT
COMMUNITY HOUSE DOOR REPLACEMENT
The Town of Longmeadow is accepting written responses for the Community House Door Replacement. Drawings and specifications prepared by Hill-Engineers, Architects, Planners, Inc., Dalton, MA. Deliver written responses labeled “IFWR- Community House Door Replacement ", and should be delivered to the Town of Longmeadow, Purchasing Department, Attn: Chad Thompson, Procurement Manager, 735 Longmeadow Street, Suite 101, Longmeadow, MA 01106 (P 413-565-4185, cthompson@longmeadow.org ). Written responses can also be emailed to the Longmeadow Purchasing Department. Bid responses will be accepted until the deadline of Wednesday, April 14, 2021 per Addendum No.1(formerly, April 9, 2021) at 2:00PM. There will not be a public bid opening as it is not required based on the estimated budget. Bid documents are available from the Longmeadow Purchasing Department. Bid documents may also be downloaded online through the Purchasing Department page of the town website: www.longmeadow.org . Select the link ‘Bids & RFPs’ ,then link: ‘Bid & RFP Finder’ to access documents online. Bidders that download documents online are encouraged to register with the Purchasing Department to receive updates. Others will be responsible to monitor the website prior to the bid deadline for additional information and issued addenda. Failure to acknowledge addenda may result in a bid rejection. An optional pre-bid conference for General Contract work and site review will begin at the front porch of the Community House, 735 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA 01106 at 10:30AM on Friday, April 2, 2021. No bid deposit is required with a bid response submission. All bidders shall comply with minimum wage rates as set forth under the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H inclusive and agree to provide statements of compliance as required. A 50% Payment Bond will be required of the successful contractor for any contract greater than $25,000. The Town of Longmeadow acting through the Town Manager, the Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and award in the best interest of the Town. After proposals are opened, no bidder may withdraw the proposal for a period of thirty (30) days. |
