Sealed proposals addressed to the City Secretary of the City of Sachse will be received until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 25th of June, 2009 at the City Council Chambers, City of Sachse, 5560 Highway 78, Sachse, Texas 75048. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

Eastview Drive Water Line Extension
All bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable bond or cashier's check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The bid guaranty is required by the Owner as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder shall execute the contract and furnish the required bonds and evidence of insurance within ten (10) days after receipt of the awarded contract. Plans and specifications are available at BW2 Engineers, 1919 S. Shiloh Road, Suite 500, Garland, Texas 75042 (972.864.8200) for a non-refundable payment of $25.00. Bid envelopes shall be sealed and marked with "City of Sachse, Eastview Drive Water Line Extension" on the outside of the envelope. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive all formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the proposal, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or reject the proposal. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.
