The Town of Occoquan is soliciting proposals from qualified certified public accountants and accounting professionals in order to conduct an independent
audit of the accounts, books and records of the Town for each of the fiscal year(s) ending June 30, 2016 through June 30, 2019. The successful Auditor(s) shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for providing
audit services.

The Town of Occoquan is a small historic Town of 1,000 residents located within the DC Metro area within Prince William County. The Town has need of auditing services to conduct an independent audit of the accounts, books and records in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards; the standards for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States; the provisions of the OMB Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations; and the Specifications for Audits of Counties, Cities and Towns.
