Description: Notice is hereby given to all general contractors, licensed by the State of Florida, that sealed bids will be accepted for the Jackson County SHIP Program. Bid packets may be delivered before 2:00 PM CDT, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 to the Purchasing Department located at the 2864 Madison Street, Marianna FL 32448. DO NOT DELIVER TO THE SHIP PROGRAM OFFICE.

Bid Name: SHIP Housing Rehabilitation Bid Numbers: 1718-15 and 1718-18

Description: The Jackson County Board of Commissioners (JCBCC) is seeking qualified general contractors to participate in work involving various forms of rehabilitation for two pre-1978 single family homes.

Pre-qualifications: Each contractor must provide pre-qualifying data concerning their eligibility to participate prior to walk thru. Application approval is required prior to receiving bid awards.

Special Note: The walk-through of two homes will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018. All contractors must meet at 9AM CDT in the Conference Room, 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL. Contractors must participate in the mandatory walk-through to bid on homes.

Only licensed and insured contractors and employees may participate. Qualifications and General Conditions will be handed out prior to the walk-through. This is the time to gather your information for the project. Please be prepared to take measurements and acquire necessary information for bid submissions.

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2PM CDT. Bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: SEALED BID, FIRM NAME, BID NAME & NUMBER, DATE & TIME of OPENING.

Bid Opening: Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2PM CDT at the JCBCC Board Room, 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL. Bids will be awarded at a JCBCC’s meeting following the bid opening date. Bids will be awarded to the best bidder as determined by the JCBCC. The JCBCC reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
