JACKSON COUNTY SHIP PROGRAM
Notice: Is hereby given to all general contractors, licensed by the State of Florida, that sealed bids will be accepted for the Jackson County SHIP Program Office by the Purchasing Department located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448.
Bid Name: SHIP Housing Rehabilitation Bid Number: 1617-18
Description: The Jackson County Board of Commissioners (JCBCC) is seeking qualified general contractors to participate in work involving various forms of rehabilitation of single-family pre/post1978 homes.
Pre-qualifications: Each contractor must provide pre-qualifying data concerning their eligibility to participate in the SHIP Program prior to walk thru. Contractor packets may be requested from the SHIP Program Office. To request call 850-482-9083 or access online at http://www.jacksoncountyfl.net/purchasing: Click on current bids and RFP’s.
Special Note: The walk thru of three homes will be on Thursday, March 30, 2017. All contractors must meet at 9AM CST in the Conference Room, 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL. Qualifications and General Conditions will be handed out prior to beginning the walk-through. Contractors must participate in the walk-through to bid on homes. This is the time to take measurements and acquire information for bid submissions.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2PM CST Bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: SEALED BID, FIRM NAME, BID NAME & NUMBER, DATE & TIME of OPENING.
Bid Opening: Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2PM CST at the JCBCC Board Room, 2864 Madison St. Bids will be awarded during a JCBCC’s meeting. Bids will be made to the best bidder, as determined by the JCBCC; the right is reserved to reject any and all bids.
