| Description: |
Due to damage caused by Hurricane Michael, the Jackson County Board of
County Commissioners is seeking bids to remove and replace two different sections of chain-link security fencing at the Blue Springs Recreational Area located at 5461 Blue Springs Rd, Marianna, FL. There is approximately 450 linear feet of fencing that needs to be replaced. The scope of work at these areas includes, but is not limited to, the deconstruction and removal of existing fencing (to include existing/damaged chain link fencing, poles, posts, barb wire, gates, railings, concrete, excavation, and the removal of other fencing materials) and the installation of new fencing (to include chain link fencing, posts, poles, barb wire, concrete, gates, railings, and other fencing materials). Work shall be performed in accordance with Exhibit 2 Scope of Work.
The project may be reimbursed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) as part of Disaster Recovery from Hurricane Michael FEMA Project No. DR-4399. It is imperative that Respondents examine and become familiar with the Public Assistance Program established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Funding for the project may be made possible through this grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by Florida
Department of Emergency Management (FDEM) and FEMA. Respondents will
comply with the Federal Regulations Contract Requirements shown at Exhibit 4. A third party consultant may be utilized to provide Construction Engineering and
Inspection Services to ensure compliance with Federal Requirements. |
