Description: |
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Indian Springs Phase 2A Sewer Extension will be received by Jackson County Board of County Commissioners at the office of the Purchasing Agent located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read. Due to Coronavirus concerns, the meeting will be held via Video Conference.
The project consists of approximately 6,780 LF of 8” PVC gravity sewer main, 30 associated manholes, 63 gravity sewer or low pressure sewer services, 6,550 LF of PVC force main ranging from 4” to 6”, 10 valves, 3 air/vac valves and roadway/driveway directional bores within the right-of-way. On lot services
will consist of 7,750 LF of 1 ½” HDPE low pressure sewer services, and 13,000 LF of 4” PVC gravity sewer services. There are estimated to be 52 residential service connections which include a gravity or low pressure sewer connection to the existing residence, abandonment of the existing septic tank, septic
tank disconnections, and site restoration.
Bidders will be required to attend a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Video Conference on Tuesday, November 17,
2020 at 10:00 a.m. local time to provide the opportunity to ask questions of the Owner and Engineer.
