Description: The Scope of the Contractors Work includes reconstructing Fairview Road between Kynesville Road and Ontario Road as indicated in Fairview Road HGMP plans prepared by Dewberry Preble-Rish. The road will be demolished and reconstructed above the known high water line as indicated on the plans. The work involves clearing and grubbing, milling, reclaim, earth work, pipe work, concrete, hauling, grading, compacting, structural fill dirt, limerock base, prime coat, paving, sod, signs, traffic markings, and other as indicated in the plans, specifications, and quantities. Prior to beginning construction, all utilities will be located. Traffic controls and erosion controls will be installed in accordance with the approved plans and permits, and will be inspected and maintained throughout the time of the work and removed upon completion of all work.

The consultant will provide inspectors to monitor the work to ensure that the performed according to the plans and specifications and to FDOT Standards and acceptable condition in support of the Jackson County Engineering Department. The inspectors will submit daily reports to the County Engineer each day, and a weekly summary of work complete including pictures of the work as it is performed. The Consultant firm will be held responsible for all aspects of the work.
